Saflirista blog:What I have seen during my trip to africa

The first night in Africa was very hard for me coming from sixty degrees in US to hundred degrees. There is no air conditioner and it was very hard for me to sleep. The next day with my friend, we decided to tour the city at least to have a glance ourselves of the reality instead of American and European televisions let us believe.
Life in African cities is different to the European and American lifestyle. The same time, what been portrayed here in developing countries medias are sometimes misleading. I used believe them before my trip. I believe that it is rating driven. I did not see any tigers, lions, girafes, elephants or any other dangerous animals any where in the city nor anyone looking for them to kill. I have seen chicken and goats. The perception that most people in Africa have tigers, lions and any exotic animals at home are false. I have seen poor people but the same time who are happy to see me. They always have big smile and they great a lot. They do not often complain about what they have. Trust me, I am not denying that life is not extremely hard for them.
