Saflrista blog: Landing in Africa.

I left Boston in the evening via American Airlines to Paris. The food was not that great but just be happy to get to Paris safely. After waiting for few hours, I boarded an air France to Africa. The food was great and the service exceptional. After five hours, we landed in Africa. It was exciting but different. The airport was very small and not a lot of planes. The weather was not that great but it was fine. I passed through customs...I have to show a yellow fever card ...hum..lol. Before I left to Africa, I went to see a doctor in order to get health advice. She covered everything including where I should sleep and what to wear because of potential disease from mosquitoes.I was terrified first but not too concerned after all. Anyway, I checkout my bags through customs and gave tips to airport workers for their helps as well as to less unfortunate including some disabled kids who were begging outside of the gates. It is sad and be happy of what you have. Life is hard. read more at saflirista
